Why Many People Like To Work In Singapore

By admin On June 7, 2010 Under Work In Singapore

From the people I talk to, they like to work in Singapore for many reasons. Here are some of them. For one thing they like the clean and green environment of Singapore.

For many people in Asia, they feel at home when they are in Singapore. And when they need to visit their parents, relatives and friends from where they came from, it is just a couple of hours away by air.

Other factors cited by them include the discipline and orderliness of this tiny city state. So they feel more secure, knowing that this country is not allowed to become chaotic or messy.

They are judged and rewarded based on merit more than on favouritism.

Many of them also see Singapore as an excellent place for them to bring up their children as well as a place where a high standard of education is assured.

On top of that, there are ample places for fun and relaxation as well as entertainment. In fact many of the facilities and attractions in Singapore are world class. The more recent additions being the two Integrated Resorts namely Resorts World Sentosa and Marina Bay Sands Singapore

And talking about these two Integrated Resorts, they are also major providers of jobs in Singapore.

For example Marina Bay Sands Singapore is still inviting people to be part of its team. Recently I saw a flyer mentioning that a remarkable array of career opportunities with superior benefits is yours to enjoy.

Some of the jobs mentioned were F&B Captains, F&B Service Attendants, Chefs de Partie, Food Runners, Commis Cooks, Bartenders, Junior Sous Chef, Steward Attendants, Sommeliers and F&B Cashiers.

To apply online visit careers.marinabaysands.com where you will be able to see the latest and the complete list of jobs.

If you prefer, you can check out career opportunities at Resorts World Sentosa here:

I wish you all the very best.
